About

Wildcat

In the heart of the wildfire battleground, the Wildcat™ Initial Attack Vehicle emerges as a formidable force, designed to swiftly navigate dense terrain and quell flames with its 415 USG foam-injected water reservoir. This skidable unit, built with decades of continuous refinement across four generations, stands as a testament to innovation in forestry firefighting. Its sleek semi-gloss finish not only allows for easy decal application but also conceals a robust combination of TIG and MIG welding processes, ensuring longevity and unmatched strength during the heat of firefighting operations.

The Wildcat™ takes pride in its adaptability, fitting 60in Cab-Chassis with options for other lengths and customizable layouts. It has lightweight yet high-strength cabinet and tonneau construction, composed of 1/8in Marine Grade 5052-H32 aluminum mill plate as well as 6061-T6 Extrusions. The Wildcat is perfectly paired with our fully aluminum Raider-D-60-X flat deck, or, is also a great candidate for any flat bed. The build quality and processes speak to its durability and resilience in the face of the toughest challenges. The tank itself boasts a substantial 1575L capacity. The entire Wildcat Skid is designed with integrated forklift pockets for easy removal/deployment via 6 Bolt Locations on the skid and corresponding flat deck.

Ease of access is a hallmark feature, with two gull-wing doors on each side providing immediate entry to all stored assets. For added convenience, the cargo bay is enclosed with rear barn doors and a vented tonneau cover. The pop-up tonneau cover, supported by gas struts, ensures quick deployment, while double-skinned flush-mounted doors with whale-tail compression latches and neoprene-rubber weather seals guarantee security and weather resistance.

Completing the Wildcat™ (and Raider-D-60-X) package is the option to pair it with the Rival Barricade Front bumper, offering an all-encompassing forest-response-ready solution. This formidable combination, with its deep departure angle and robust build, stands as a testament to our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions for every budget. The Wildcat™ Initial Attack Response Unit not only signifies a commitment to firefighting excellence but also represents a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of nature's most formidable adversary.

Coming out of 2023 into 2024, humanity is faced with the reality that there has never been a greater need for wildfire response readiness. 2023 was the hottest year on record, Canada suffered over 18,500,000 hectares of wildfire loss, more than double the previous annual record. We at Rival are completely committed to doing our part in aiding wildfire response and providing a top-of-the-line product that our frontline firefighters are confident in and familiar with; backed by compassionate customer service at every turn. Looking forward at the inevitable rising risk of wildfires our generation and future generations will face, there truly is no time like the present to add another Wildcat to your fleet.
